Đạo Mẫu Tứ Phủ là một tín ngưỡng bản địa của Việt Nam với lịch sử hình thành và phát triển từ lâu đời, với tiêu điểm là việc tôn thờ các nữ thần, mẫu thần có công hộ quốc an dân. Đạo Mẫu Tứ Phủ gắn với thân phận của người phụ nữ Việt Nam, gắn với công cuộc giữ gìn cương thổ, với thiên nhiên non nước Việt Nam. Thế giới trong Tứ Phủ gồm bốn cõi: Thiên Phủ, Địa Phủ, Thoải (Thủy) Phủ và Nhạc Phủ, mỗi Phủ lại được cai quản bởi một Thánh Mẫu.

The Mother Goddess religion is an indigenous belief in Vietnam with a long history of formation and development and the focus on worshiping goddesses who have protected the nation and helped its people. The Mother Goddess religion has a profound connection the status of Vietnamese women as well as the merits of protecting the country and reserving its beauty. The devotees come to Mother Goddesses to find spiritual support and protection of a Mother. The most prominent denomination of the Mother Goddess religion is Four Palaces. Four Palaces is a major denomination of the Mother Goddess religion. The world in the Four Palaces consists of four realms: Heaven Palace, Earth Palace, Water Palace and Mountains Palace, each of which is governed by a Mother Goddess.

"The Holy Mistresses of Four Palaces" is an illustration book featuring the hagiographies of the 12 Holy Mistresses in the Mother Goddess religion, applying AR technology. The illustrator pursued an original style instead of the traditional one, which brings an interesting interactive experience to the readers.

Cô Năm Suối Lân: cai quản vùng suối lân quanh năm xanh mát, ai có bệnh xin nước suối uống vào sẽ thuyên giảm.

Fifth Mistress of the Lân Stream: She attends on the Fifth Courtier of the Lân Stream. She is assigned the the Lân stream's perennial area. The stream's water can cure the sick.

Cô Sáu Lục Cung: là người con gái xinh đẹp nết na có tài chữa bệnh cứu người.

Sixth Mistress of the Mountains Village: She attends on the Sixth Courtier of Six Residences and has a medical talent.

Cô Bảy Kim Giao: tiên cô ngự trên cây kim giao cổ thụ, cùng đàn hát với các bạn tiên nàng.

Seventh Mistress of Kim Giao: She attends on the Seventh Courtier of Kim Giao. She usually sits on the ancient Kim Giao trees and play with Her goddess friends.

Cô Tám Đồi Chè: sinh thời là một thiếu nữ hái chè làm thuốc, giúp đỡ dân lành.

Eighth Mistress of Tea Hills: in Her incarnation, She usually picked tea leaf and herbs to make medicine and help people.

Cô Chín Sòng Sơn: một tiên nữ trên thiên đình, có nhiều tài phép như chữa bệnh, xem bói, thêu thùa,...

Ninth Mistress of Mount Sòng: She is a young goddess in Heaven Palace. She has many talents such as medicine, foretune telling, embroidery, etc.
